In case anyone is curious about how their ISP has been lately, here's a couple easy test sites that measure speed both up and down the line. Everyone's done these, but I thought a few might be curious to re-check their speeds (which can change as more subscribers enter the flock).

http://www.bluemarble.net/tech_support/speed_test.htm

I had 3846 kbps down, 370 up - seems to be for testing DSL, I have cable though

http://speedtest.umnet.umich.edu:7123/

4170 (or 4.17 Mbps) kbps down, 374 up, so the sites seem close...

I've been lucky, new lines went up for high speed cable two years ago and Comcast has been pretty good to me so far (except the bill is damn terrible) for speed and reliability.

Dang, man - I think your inbound (down) speed should be higher than that with cable...
